The problem I came upon working within Substance is the following: I find objects that interest me and that I would like to show, but sometimes I don't know what to say. Perhaps they have a history or are part of an important context, but within my narrative, sometimes they sound superfluous, which leads me to a dead end. Moments like these make me feel like the description of the object is for nothing, that it doesn't add anything to the plot or atmosphere. Then I question whether it is even worth the time describing it in the first place.

Maybe you could consider shifting the focus from describing the objects themselves to exploring how they impact the characters or the overall mood of your narrative. This way, even seemingly insignificant objects can contribute to the atmosphere and depth of your story, making them more relevant to your audience. Keep experimenting!
