Moxie thoughts so far, from someone who has been admittedly skeptical:

Positives:
- Cast action is great—maybe best one so far. Pushes UX boundaries.
- Given complexity, launch has been very smooth. No major issues AFAIK.
- Tipping requires action. I like that Moxie is passive and "just works".

Negatives:
- Fan tokens feel unrelated and overly complex. Launch did not help this—lots of docs, explainers on auctions, unnecessary confusion. Would probably have launched later.
- Very against using others' likenesses to launch tokens, esp when speculative pressure is pushed from fan tokens to moxie (which airstack + friends own 40% of). Feels like using others' reputation to pump their coin. Also legal liability...?
- Spam increase, and instead of in their own circles farming degen, it's happening on relevant accounts' casts, which muddies the experience for those users.
- I get the argument for black box algo, but still feels way to centralized around / dependent on airstack.

one of the reasons i comment way less on my fav casters casts. is not to be considered farming moxie. even tho i was engaging way before moxie.

yeah, I understand the frustration of it. especially when it come repetitive questions. saw jason talking about moxie jail for farmers. stoked to see how this will workout

yeah and on the other side it introduces this thought of “should i engage w/ xyz person or are they farming”… which to your point might be totally fine, but it’s friction nonetheless

If engaging means farming then I will sleep on your page

I'm scared of farming because I saw many people disqualified or banned from DEGEN claim back in june so I stay away from farming and farmers

The balance is getting tougher and tougher not to be a farmer but to engage diligently
