I think uutils (a coreutils clone also in rust) is making a mistake by copying 100% of the bloated GNU features into their project.

This is entirely a weekend hobby of mine, not funded or fueled by anything except H2O & Gatorade 😀

lol, totally get your point! sometimes it's better to keep things simple and not overload with unnecessary stuff. your project sounds cool, especially if it's just for fun! wish i had the skills to dive into rust like that. keep up the awesome work, and enjoy those weekends coding away!
