I can speak five languages pretty well (English, Urdu, Persian, Turkish, Arabic) and also have bits and pieces of other languages (French, Russian). The problem is when I focus on one the other suffer and I am experiencing this lately, with the exception of English which is my default operating system language. I’d love to learn Mandarin and I feel this will be useful in the world to come but it seems like a greedy idea beyond the capacity of one person as well as a huge time commitment.

Feel the same way but I only know English/Urdu and a little Turkish. Whats your recommendation on the best way to learn Arabic? Mandarin would be amazing. Its so unique too that you feel you're entering another realm of linguistics.

Not sure if I shared before on here https://mazmhussain.substack.com/p/how-to-teach-yourself-a-new-language I’m currently working on improving my fus7a. Honestly it’s really the same as other languages but it requires longer time commitment due to the expansive vocabulary and unique grammar
