I follow /books and others in the channel not because I am some book worm, but because every time I see posts like this it reminds me how much more I could be reading, and how little I actually read. One of these days I'll read a book. A few more casts and who knows

I have a few in the queue. The more I add to it, the less likely im going to actually read them - Ive seen a ton of your book reviews/posts and one that stood out to me was "Enemy of All Mankind" thats added to my amazon list. I would be interesting in learning more about how you balance your offline bandwidth with your online presence. It seems like if you aren't terminally online for 3 hours you have missed something. Do you have a specific routine you stick to? or a personal commitment you've given yourself?

i’m an extremely online person and also have a two year old i start the morning by reading, and end the night with it as well (instead of TV) my daughter just went to sleep, i’ve been working all day, and my wife left to see friends. felt like a perfect time to read for awhile! i don’t think you need THAT much time set aside for reading

seeing as your reading taste seems well versed. Have you either heard of or read a book called IQ84 by Haruki Murakami?

Thats fair - I think the main reason I don't make time for it as much as I should is because I have a full time adtech/media sales role that is completely unrelated to anything onchain. SO, I spend all of my non working minutes learning and growing within the industry. I'm new and green to this industry, but it is insanely fascinating and its hard to pull away from it because I have an infinite list of things to learn That said, you make a good point - I can be online for 14 hours straight and still get 15-20 mins of reading in before I even log on. With how busy work is right now thats my only realisstic window of being 100 percent distractions. my hat goes off to those that do all of this WITH kids. very admirable
