NFTs as receipts of transactions online feels like such an obvious use case. It would be pretty helpful if we had a universal digital receipt standard so that people could easily keep track of their transactions both online and IRL.

There are so many great uses of NFTs but 99.9999999999% of them were embarrassing trash so I don't blame normal people for turning on them. Source: I spent years of my life in the NFT trenches.

What do you think are the top 3 use cases for NFTs that may appeal to normal people?

POAP Ticket for event gated access to a website There's probably better ones but I think you could get real traction for these uses. Well, COULD have, I honestly think NFTs are dead in the water forever. Not only did "we" kill them, as soon as they get a little popular, "we" will pump out cash-grab trash again.

I am in fact working on a thing incorporating NFTs, but I think we killed the goose that laid the golden eggs already and they are never going to be "huge" again with the public, at least not under the NFT name and not until the bad taste in ppls mouths is forgotten.

I dont think it matters whether NFTs are big or not for the public. The utility of them for the things you mention, like ticketing or receipts are reason enough for companies to adopt the underlying tech and abstract the rest away
