Feel like we're reaching the next chapter of the cycle where projects need to prove their worth beyond just being a good meme that people can get behind. Having a strong brand is the foundation - now it's time to innovate on novel methods of token distribution and consumption.

I agree. But you never really know. I think that there are always going to be phases in the market where people come up with new niches and narrative within memes (or anything really) to create a trend. But the ones that do hit have to focus on creating a brand. That said, I too am guilty of aping into tokens.
