/ledgerofficial has created a product, and the market rendered it obsolete before they could launch it. What’s happening with EIP-7212 and Passkeys is truly insane. /walletconnect acknowledged in their talk at ETHCC that they are working on reinventing themselves because WalletConnect may not be needed in the future. In August, I’ll receive my Ledger Stax. I’ve been waiting for a year and a half due to logistic problems at ledger. By the time the device arrives, I might never end up using it because of Passkeys WebWallets and Smart Accounts. It will be a nice story of innovation to tell, on par with Kodak.
