Tom was leaving the grocery store when one of his bags tore open, sending apples rolling across the parking lot. Before he could start picking them up, another man nearby noticed and quickly came over to help. Together, they gathered the apples and placed them in an extra bag the man offered. Tom thanked him, and the man simply smiled and wished him a good day. As Tom headed to his car, he felt grateful for the unexpected assistance, reminded of the simple goodness in people.
