I shared this image of myself from 2015 on Facebook earlier today, capturing the moment when I first bought a new lens for my journey to Machu Picchu. It reflects my inspiration to photograph myself in the spirit of Norman Rockwell, embracing creativity and adventure.

I captured this photograph a few days ago, and I'm excited to incorporate it into a new digital painting project. I'm still deciding whether to approach it as a landscape or as a portrait piece, as both options have their own unique appeal. The composition has so much potential, and I canβt wait to see how it transforms into a work of art!

I originally shared this piece on Instagram in April 2021. I started using the Instant Toon app to create these cartoon-like images for work, but I later used the app to create fine digital paintings, and these images became my early sketches.

One of my earlier works as a digital painter. The inspiration for this piece comes from a photo I took of a crane in Baltimore, right outside my office. It's one of my first explorations into discovering the path for my digital painting journey.
