I really like the idea of charity coins. 

One risk that I immediately thought about: 

"Wouldn't memecoins do charitywashing by giving these institutions 5% of supply and then using it as an eternal pardon to do bad things just like some bad apples among effective altruists do?"

Thanks! V1 of what would become Glo Dollar has been in minds since December 2021, but only started work on the public goods funding minded version in January of 2024 :-) So 3 years or 3 months depending how you want to look at it haha
