Why did you decide to get a tattoo? Was it the art or the experience?

The art and the experience. Just got my first tattoo today. I wanted to get it to celebrate the life of a friend I lost. This is how he used to sign off on his emails.

Slightly by luck. when I was in Vietnam, I looked up reviews of tattoo studios. I gravitated towards a studio, my friend personally recommended. After that, I went through all the artists and decided which artist I felt good do this particular type of work the best
