i often see metrics and data being thrown around to make a point, but in most cases, there’s little clarity on what’s actually being measured or how the information is derived. okay - i see the number, but how is it calculated?

living in a place where bright sunlight is rare during winter has made me deeply grateful whenever it appears. i love being in the sun, spending time outdoors - just soaking in the light (with sun protection, of course) and feeling happy. surprisingly it’s been ten days of sunshine in a row, but the streak ends today.
