Dependency minimalism (writing software that deliberately tries to have as few dependencies as practical) is a really underrated virtue imo.

Every single dependency is a risk that "something will go wrong" during someone's installation process. Installing projects with hundreds of dependencies and walking through errors can be incredibly frustrating.

updating dependencies is also a nightmare in projects with complex dependency graphs.

this is a reminder to never stop finding joy in the small things - like simply being in nature or enjoying a hot cup of good coffee on a cold day. sometimes, all it takes is a moment to pause, step away from the busyness of life, and take a deep breath.

yesterday, my brother tried to convince us that tiramisu contains ladyfingers, the vegetable (you may know it as okra) and that we just can’t taste it because it blends so well with the coffee flavor .. rofl

why haven’t google/apple maps integrated real-time weather updates into their navigation apps? weather alerts along the route are just as important as road blockages and accidents.
