I once noticed something like this with crawler bots on website analytics. But never stood still at itβs implications.

Exactly. A competent SEO will know how to cull bots from their traffic profile, and browser configs reveal a lot about the agent.

all good. my point is there are many people familiar with the "dark forests" of the internet and spam isn't a new problem. many wizards with many magics.
