Everyone is so hell bent on trying to get rich quick by trading, but the honest to god truth is almost everyone would do better if they worked a job and just DCA’d into Bitcoin (and maybe like ETH and SOL)

Totally. I sat out last memecoin mania cycle because I knew I didn’t have enough of an edge, and I’d wind up as exit liquidity side. Bitcoin is a bit different…you don’t trade it, you stack it. Over a long time horizon, the data won’t lie and it’ll be your best asset in your portfolio. It won’t feel that way in the moment, but it low key will be when you do a retrospective.

That would also help to mainstream perception of crypto as a bit more than an unregulated casino. There could even be more focus on current and potential use cases that are actually very important, both for individuals and organisations.

Part of the problem is people in this space jump too far ahead about all the different possibilities when the audience we're speaking t who still thinks of it as fake money/unregulated casino stuff. I've found the easiest way is to just start with Bitcoin and compare it to gold. Keep it dead simple, no need to talk about ownership, identity, smart contracts, etc. Although not a scalable way to evangelize, I've found this to be a great starting point to get the conversation going and keeping it warm/grounded in something that is relatable.
