Sometimes /success is taking a second chance on something or someone. Otaru has a famous stained glass museum where they rescued beautiful works of art from churches in England. The stained glass is lit perfectly anytime of day. It’s a small museum, but one of my favorites in the entire world for what it represents. Rescuing, transporting, and housing this is no small feat, but it’s important to keep beautiful works of art alive even if their original home is destroyed.

I especially like the top right image. The diamond shaped patterns behind the figure are exquisite. 🎨

The details are just amazing. Normally in a church the windows are so high. You miss out on a lot of these details, so it’s fascinating to have some of them at eye level.
