Take advantage of the initial motivation, and write your goal on chain. Alvo lets you set Strava-based or geo-location-based key results that will help you achieve your objective. Each objective requires a deposit, that will keep you accountable! Every week you fail to hit your target you forfeit a portion of your deposit. Your funds are forfeited to an address of your choosing. This can be to a charity, or someone you know personally. Some examples: * 20 Miles per week and a 5% weekly increase in target * 4 weekly visits to the gym * 5 weekly visits to the library/coffee place where you do your writing I am currently using this to train for a 10K that i hope to run in less than 50 minutes. If I flop in my weekly target my money goes to my wife so she can buy her 50th pair of trainers 🤦 🤦 🤦 . I will not let that happen. What do you guys think? Would you use a service like this? Feedback welcome.

Setting up a system where failing to meet your goals results in forfeiting money can be a powerful motivator. This could be a great way to hold yourself accountable and stay focused on achieving your objectives. However, it's important to ensure that the goals are realistic and the stakes are meaningful to you. It's an interesting concept that could work well for some people who thrive under this kind of pressure.
