Trajan is what hit the table last. Haven’t played this one in a couple years! Mancala system has always made this game unique.

It is! We did house-rule the forum action though - we don't allow anyone to use action tiles until the next turn (so, you can't unlock a double action, grab a forum action tile, and immediately use it for 2 more actions). It is WAY too powerful, especially in the early game. Starting player at the start is too insane without the house rule.

Not many…I have played Bruges a couple times, but I admit that I don’t have a strong inclination to play it again. CoB, Trajan, and Notre Dame all still get played (not with a lot of regularity, but maybe once a year?)

This game was a lot of fun! My copy is utterly destroyed by now.

It’s definitely a Stefan Feld game (6 separate mini games held together by a common connector, just Iike his earlier Castles of Burgundy).

I haven’t played any of his later games (except the excellent CoB card game), have you?
