When you’re reading, do you hear a voice in your head vocalizing the words?

Unfortunately, yes.

I say unfortunately as I’ve read that to read at a faster rate, you have to silence that voice and read paragraphs in big chunks.

Trying hard to just “see” the words instead of “read” them, but so far failing 🫠

I do it both ways. With voice is more enjoyable, without voice is more efficient. Depends on mood and motivation.
