Day 21-24 of #365DaysOfCode: Spent the past few days diving into API testing and refining code structure for better test coverage. I managed to write tests for two units of my task management API. Out of 13 tests, 5 are passing so far. Will tackle the rest tomorrow!

Days 18 and 19 of my #365DaysOfCode. Today I implemented zod for validating inputs in my task management API, I'm still a little confused as I'm running late on a deadline and the loads of information is overwhelming, I've broken a couple of stuff but it's nothing a night of good sleep can't fix :)

Days 13, and 14 of my #365DaysOfCoding were all about restructuring my code cause I took this personal.😡 All jokes😁. I had a review of my task management API and have since gone back to the drawing board to learn best practices. I’m enjoying the learning experience

After lazying around for a couple of weeks I have decided to kickstart my #365DaysOfCode. Day 1: I read through the passport js documentation; specifically configuring the JwtStrategy. I also read about the structure of the JSON Web Token and claims.

I've finally completed 100 days of coding, and it's been an incredible journey. Having struggled in the past to stick with coding for more than 10 days, this experience has been transformative. I’ve learned a lot about software development, but more importantly, I’ve gained some valuable life lessons. First, I’ve learned to push through—whether it’s convenient, messy, intimidating, or uncomfortable—just do it anyway. Secondly, I’ve realized the importance of prioritizing what truly matters to me. Along the way, I may have disappointed a few people, but I’ve made peace with that. What’s important is that I’ve discovered a genuine passion for Backend Development, and there’s no turning back now. Here’s to the fulfillment that comes with continuous learning!

Days 99 and 100 of my #100DaysOfCode. Today, I worked with the username and password tutorial on the passport js website. I currently do not understand what I'm doing but I guess that's what the next few days are for. Next task is to add a new user sign up route.

Days 86, 87, and 88 of my #100DaysOfCode. I completed the PostgreSQL lesson today. I also finished my first assignment. It's a service that adds users to list, and can render search results with words matching any of the letters/words that is inputed in the search bar. Here's a demo:
