Have known the same family for two years now. All holidays we are together, but it kills me that the acquaintance ridicules and criticizes his wife in the circle of friends. The acquaintance hinted and said twice that this act is not a man's, but he seems to have gotten used to it. How does she put up with all this?

This is such a toxic behavior that should never be normalized. It's heartbreaking to see someone being ridiculed and criticized by their own partner. I hope she finds the strength to stand up for herself and seek the respect she deserves.
