So there’s a couple ways to look at this. It’s possible that she will have something to say regarding the ceasefire, but was saying something else at that time. (Which is why the protester was called a heckler) (she was hyping people up) she did say before that everyone’s voice matters It’s possible that the person was being a heckler. It is what it is on that standpoint. I’m not sure what trumps standpoint is on Gaza either (you’re welcome to let me know). It’s a brand new show if she wins, so maybe we need to wait to see what she (and walz) have to say officially, before it goes one way or another. It’s fine to protest but if you are going to do so in an attempt to disrupt a speech then it is within the speakers right to call it out. The situation in Gaza is not simple and there is plenty of guilt and blame to go around… primarily with the Israelis and Palestinians. The administration is clearly trying to work towards a ceasefire. Do you think either Kamala or Walz want the horrors of Gaza to continue… obviously not. However, they need to stay focused on their primary task - defeating Donald Trump. Anyone who thinks the world is going to be in a better place by allowing Trump to return to power is naive. The Right is trying to paint Harris as hostile to Jews and Israel while those further out on the Left are trying to paint her as supporting genocide. It’s just political bullshit. Stay focused.
