Our team has been shipping open source software for 7 months to enable Mini-apps on Farcaster, working hard to get people to notice or care, via /mod 

We wrote FIPs, shared demos with Warpcast, asking for feedback, got a bunch of Farcaster clients to integrate, all ready for a big launch of the first Mods.

Thank you for all the helpful feedback and for willing to take a bet on us early. 🙏 

Unfortunately the Mod libs don't make sense atm as Frames doesn't support all Mods and Frames has 1000x distribution. 

Mods are much more powerful, and it looks as though the Frames spec will add many things similar to Mod.

The metadata indexer is going to remain live and deployed! In the mid to long term we hope API providers will support it in their APIs and we can stop being an API provider. Neynar was looking at doing this

will give ample notice before switching anything off - we also depend on this infra for our projects

Mod's actions, creation mods and transactions will likely be in Frames soon enough.

We will separate out the Mod open source Farcaster utilities into separate repos to allow them to proliferate:
- Farcaster Editor
- Metadata indexer

And do our best to support you and your apps via frames.js
