a fear of mine is that a sufficiently successful version of this is max adverserial to other clients (see https://mirror.xyz/furlong.eth/byYvt-cwL9cmrk8Vyyds1iJgd-iNoQjawP8qQLEdUi8) to the point of it forking the network
