agree on algo unable to stop content degradation long term... my point was on channels letting the content degradation issue in the users hands. As soon a channel get too flooded (or admin cannot policy it well enough) new channels with higher quality content will spawn up😉

current farcaster moderator mechanism gives them too much power moderators don’t have skin in the game other than “social capital” and can / will make decisions that ruin channels real solution is to decentralize the channel moderation to ensure good moderators are curating the channel feed correctly

agree better solution are in need but is still a good start for me.imho: a moderator skin in the game would be missing out on new financial gains/ interesting info for non financial related channels + their "reputation/respect by the community".an hated moderator/user will not get involved in private chats out of spite

imo not enough skin in the game and the whole mechanism needs to be changed from ground up moderation of channels is necessary but there should be a checks + balances to a mod’s power
