The one comparison I’ve made is the practice of giving out a “morale bonus” at a job where you have eg $50 once every 3 months that you can only spend on a co-worker.

this makes me think of coordinape, a DAO tool to reward contributors 

I have used it in a DAOs but I always thought it was kind of a struggle to distribute, hard to overview what everyone has done, and then how many to reward for that.
