i played fb in college i saw kids from rough backgrounds who had a scholarship but no income (which was more or less forbidden) get in trouble for selling their textbooks to send money back home to their baby mama or pay for parking tickets all while the head coach made 5m a year, the university sold 100k tickets every weekend for $100 a pop, and the scholarship go to waste since you’re expected to complete the course work while spending 60 hours a week playing ball enjoy

as much as i hate seeing billionaires control aspects of life that feel unnecessary a system the previous model was a disgrace
