It's legitimately the first time I've felt early to something. I know a few of us are seeing something that everyone else is not seeing yet, but will eventually. AI art now is BTC in 2015. Lost robbies selling for 1M was BTC hitting 1K in Dec 2013. 

A long road ahead, but no question about the destination.

Could not agree more. Has been my thesis for elite gen art, terraforms, and not early AI. Trying to learn and be disciplined at the same time.

Biggest thing I've changed my mind on recently is that Gen Art will split into "code based" gen art and "ai based" gen art. AI based gen art will go mainstream first, and when most people talk about generative art they will actually be referring to ai based gen art.

Time is running out to collect the early ai works.

I was in the same boat, but increasingly convinced gen art remains niche. I would love to be wrong of course, haven't sold any gen art. But history is happening now with ai art, and next few years could be pivotal. So huge opportunity cost in spending time/money elsewhere.

Fully agree. Gen art proved art on blockchain holds value and solved some mechanics etc. also love it but AI is world changing.
