This still seems like a low probability future, but the most exciting thing to me about Elon Twitter™ is that it's the most prominent institution in recent history to be de-bloated — if there's any sort of domino effect into other organizations, governments, etc., it's going to be quite the win for humanity.

Agree. Though I'm much more excited about what it could mean for e.g. federal / state governments (admittedly likely a pipe dream).
