An interesting trend I've noticed from cold emailing over the years: the "more important" the person is, the faster they tend to answer (even if it's a no). Like, within minutes. It's crazy. Less well known people will either not answer at all or respond weeks / months later. Calibrate accordinly.

Actually... I cold emailed the president of the New York Yankees in 2011 Randy Levine... He responded within 5 minutes... The fact that my name is Randy as well may have helped?
