Not necessarily books but Courses I’d be interested in teaching (h/t @phil @zeni.eth) if there’s enough interest: - intro to robotics / autonomy (I have to think about a theme here, but mostly no hardware all simulation) - intro to end-to-end learning for robotics (maybe using lerobot) - intro to reinforcement learning (in the context of robotics - NVIDIA Isaac sim) - intro to world models (?) - intro to NeRF / 3D Gaussian splatting? - building a drone: nonlinear optimal control, building simulation of Software-in-the-loop I’d teach these things mostly because they’re areas of interest and I can read enough papers to put together a course around it / 6 weeks relatively hands on (lectures + project based)

This is more of a feeler (my plate is pretty full at the moment but it’s possible)

How are these broken down? Similar to a 101 course but no papers? I'm curious as to what the expectations would be if I were to teach something. I developed some adult education courses also with clinical rotations for the military. I don't want to undershoot or overshoot

not sure yet, but something like this: prerequisites: - college level math (calculus, diffeq) will help, but not required - programming experience will help (prob python) but not required - curiosity, and prob ~5 hours of course work probably: - weekly lecture on a topic - office hours (questions) - project based course work (optional)

Ok simple enough, so pull some key topics out of a book in the topics and teach about it... I think I'll play around with making a test class...Seems fun. I appreciate this feedback.

the load on a fc instructor is likely high because they often have their own projects going on alternatively, there are existing open courses on robotics and RL but how they connect to future fc projects is unclear, so like a book/course community note but for builder purposes cc @anurajenp @phil
