I chose 'Shared Memory' not only because it resonates my personal feelings about my mother, but also because it masterfully bridges the personal and universal, transforming a fleeting family moment into an eternal dialogue about time, technology, and human connection. The artwork's intricate process—a fusion of analog and digital—reflects the way memories themselves evolve, degrade, and reshape through the lenses of nostalgia and modern interpretation.

What captivates me most is its poignant homage to family, particularly the tender bond between mother and child. It feels as though this piece transcends its form, not merely preserving a memory but imbuing it with new meaning. The deliberate incorporation of glitches and flickering CRT lines mirrors the imperfections in life, posing a compelling question: do these "mistakes" hold more truth than perfection?
