is embedding your own wallet the only way to work around the limitation of "connected" to only 1 chain at a time? Why do I need to "Switch Network" before sending a transaction?

Most wallets were designed in a 1-chain world so they have the anti-pattern of asking you to switch networks. I think frame is smart about this.

WalletConnect v2 has the concept of connecting to multiple networks at the same time, so technically you can silently switch chains and prompt the wallet to sign with the right chain. That said it doesn't extend to non-walletConnect wallets or embedded wallets
