Why aren't you "marketing" to increase the number of "creators" to increase supply of interesting and entertaining content?

- Marketing is something you do when you have a clear, repeatable value prop; it's a post-product market fit behavior

- Sales is what you do when you haven't figured out the repeatable process and requires a lot of talking to users, product iteration; if you don't have a repeatable sales process, this cannot be outsourced beyond the startup's founders

as someone who straight up asked @dwr.eth for a job once and regularly gets tagged in “hire ted” casts or DCs

i’m 10000% aligned with his take on focusing on product and not marketing for growth

in fact, my POV is that it would be dumb AF to hire a marketing team right now

what would they do? what would i do?

you’re already doing the job, why would they pay you for it?

I don’t mean that in a bad way. 

if @dwr.eth @v and team can keep building products that get people so excited they do the outreach, the white glove, the demos/tutorials, and pull features out of them, def no need to add overhead.
