Ceramic has some neat ideas for data portability, basically doing to just about any app what Farcaster and other social protocols are doing for online interaction. Eg a set of agreed standard data elements for fitness tracking, enabling a plethora of apps to be built on top and allowing users to switch between them

Neat ideas but unless they make a popular client first, don’t see ceramic taking off . I think building a great client alongside the FC protocol is one of the genius decisions by @dwr.eth .

It is more difficulty to make a client for them because they are more "general purpose". But currently the main focus is DID and user-center data

good point. the fact ceramic being more general makes it more difficult to create useful client

yeah agreed. I tried to use ceramic a couple months back and there was literally no working app on top of it that I could find to even test it out. There were some broken hackathon projects that I tried that didn’t work

Agree on this, but does Gitcoin Passport count as a Ceramic client?
