If email was decentralized on @ipfs like @fileverse this would not be a problem.

πŸ“± This is how Google sees your photos (scary) When you upload a photo, Google sees something else, and this website shows it to you. It's called TheySeeyourPhotos and it shows you what Google sees in a single photo. In the example image I showed you, descriptions appear beyond what is simply appreciated and that is not all, if it had more metadata, it could also indicate the location of said photo. And be careful what you upload for testing, because this goes through the Google Vision API. Were you surprised? Well, you better not think that there are probably more people who know about having not just one photo, but many from your entire life. https://theyseeyourphotos.com/

Inspired by a short exchange with the @fileverse team, I started a doc to collect literature references/inspiration in Anime. Maybe we'll find a crowd to read some together. If you know any and want to see them included, comment and I'll update the doc accordingly.✨ https://docs.fileverse.io/frame/0x05D29870D73d0E46D670CB72EA465702bC506668/33?key=RhPp7J7kvl01AyrD3MWydJ88NvmrLL6jIQ4EjeiTlJyh1QIDFsltms48TqoSiNf3

Hey Vincent have a you tried ddocs.new? It's an onchain & privacy-enhancing alternative to gDocs. A good way to share knowledge onchain instead of going through centralised apps :)

If you think your private msgs should be end-to-end encrypted, the logic should probably apply to your files online

It's about cypherpunks ideals, onchain granular permissions, privacy, and also why we have a strong feeling that the future of online collaboration will be peer-to-peer <3

That’s how I read this tweet β†’ speculation doesn’t solve users problems. β€˜Accelerate non-speculative crypto use cases’ means start solving real problems of the real customers using crypto. Start building something tangible. Pain killer, not a vitamin. Finally. https://x.com/santiagoroel/status/1868731394350104816

On this week's episode of Role Call, @treegirl @spengrah.eth and @nintynick.eth reflect on the original cypherpunk ethos of "privacy for the weak, transparency for the powerful" with @miroyato from @fileverse as they work through some of the tradeoffs between privacy and transparency in a future world of decentralized collaboration Listen and collect: https://pods.media/rehash/role-call-ep-4-the-future-of-decentralized-collaboration-wandreas-fileverse
