Yes, I see what you mean. I quite agree. What I like is especially the place she holds during that time as a woman and Mexican in the Western artistic scene and her boldness.

After all, I have nothing against shamans 😉

Not a huge fan of Kahlo's paintings though I do enjoy the surreality and her bold vision, she sometimes seems more shaman than painter.
