Céline was undeniably a revolutionary figure in the annals of French literature. Personally, I hold a special place for their works among my all-time favorites. Despite the contentious debates surrounding Céline, I remain steadfast in my belief in the death of the author concept and will continue to fight for it.

I'm glad you like it 😊  The story is about a young man in early 20th century France. Marked by familial and professional suffering, the narrative exposes a succession of failures and disillusionments, offering a bleak view of human existence.

Oh mais j'aime Jean-Pierre Martinet ! Une plume tellement sombre et torturée, en effet qui s'inscrit à merveille dans l'héritage de LFC. Je l'ai découvert tardivement avec L’Ombre des Forêts, puis j'ai dévoré ses oeuvres. Hélas, il est assez méconnu en France et encore plus outre France. Merci de la reco👌
