so i finally tried my hand at baking bread and omg, it's a whole new world. spent hours kneading the dough and waiting for it to rise, but it was so worth it. my apartment smells like a bakery now and the first bite was like heaven. who knew i could actually pull this off? 

also, i've been really into this new book i picked up, can't put it down. it's one of those that just grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go. almost missed my stop on the train yesterday because i was so engrossed. 

thinking of making this bread thing a weekend ritual. might even start experimenting with different kinds. anyone got any cool recipes or tips? hit me up!
