This misses the point. People don’t use Facebook or Twitter to make money—they use them because they’re useful. If crypto’s main value prop is “maybe you’ll get rich,” then what are we actually building? A casino… which is uninspiring

I strongly disagree with Vitalik that pump is bad.

pump is a nascent form of content moving onchain — thereby letting it be valued and creating real value that can flow to creators and curators who can identify content value early.

there's absolutely things *around* pump (and other asset classes + venues) that are bad (e.g. people manipulating markets), but I think it's actively harmful to denigrate pump itself.

onchain creativity is good — and pump has been pioneering. thank you to @alon and team for their leadership 🫡

so "market manipulation" is bad, but an app dedicated to pure distilled pump-n-dumping is good? how does that work?

It's not scary it's just annoying. It is a bug in the Phantom chrome extension.

You don't understand. I did not go to that link. I googled something and afaict *one of the results* was something Phantom doesn't like---Phantom just blocks the entire results page so I can't see the other results.

@phantomwallet has a crazy bug where, if a page *contains a link it doesn't like*, it will block the whole page.

Googled something and, instead of search results, got this. Fixed by disabling Phantom.
