This is just so deeply sad. We had such a great sense of interface design and we lost it all. We will try to inspire the next generation to bring some of it back, starting with the acknowledgement that modern design approaches are inadequate if not outright wrong.

The compromise is full liberty (Mill's harm principle) for what's allowed, but legal limits on what is convenient.

I think the real third rail is that nobody wants to talk about whether and how much corporations should be allowed to take advantage of very stupid people.

I have become less libertarian over time not because my   ethics have changed but because adversarial tech has gotten more efficient at extracting value from unsophisticated people.

Used to lose 5-10% of people like this, but now it's 50, 60% and the water is still rising.

Google is so unbelievably cooked.

All week, I've been about to google something, then think "no, it will be too slow and annoying" and ask Claude instead. Claude's web search produces perfect summaries with inline links for detail.

Today, I find myself going direct to Claude. Decade+ old habit replaced in a week.

I want to make a simple mint frame that accepts erc20 payments for mints. Aiming for one click.

IMO the approval step adds confusion for first timers. 

Is there an elegant way to transfer an erc20 to a contract and then check that msg.sender has sent the appropriate amount before minting? 

All roads I've thought through so far lead to the check offchain. I'm ok with that but wondering if someone has done something similar and can help me out!
