An educated person is like a library - full of knowledge and facts, quotes and stories carefully sorted on shelves.
An intelligent person is like a computer -able to process information quickly and connect disparate ideas in logical ways.
But a genius is like a magical garden - where facts grow into deeper truths, logic blossoms into intuition, and knowledge takes on a life of its own.
Education fills the mind, intelligence hones it, but genius ignites the heart. It buds from within, watered by passion and wonder.
An educated person you can teach, an intelligent person you can discuss with. But a genius you can only stand in awe of, as something new emerges from their interaction with the world, revealing dimensions of experience you had not seen.
Education organizes, intelligence analyzes, but only genius can create, giving form to what lies formless within, breaking rules yet making its own. 0 reply

“The Truth coming out of the well” Jean-Léon Gérôme, 1896.
According to the painting’s legend, the Truth and the Lie meet one day. The Lie says: “It’s a marvelous day today!” The Truth sighs, for the day was indeed beautiful.
They spend time together, reaching a well. The Lie says: “The water is nice, let’s bathe!” The Truth, suspicious, tests the water and finds it pleasant. They undress and start bathing.
Suddenly, the Lie leaves, puts on the Truth’s clothes, and runs away. The furious Truth chases after her, naked.
Seeing the Truth exposed, the World turns away in contempt. Ashamed, the Truth returns to the well and disappears forever.
Since then, the Lie, dressed as the Truth, travels the world, satisfying society, which has no desire to see the naked Truth. 10 replies

Take a look at Will Smith’s infamous Oscars slap. One moment, he’s sitting front row at Hollywood’s biggest night, about to win an Oscar for Best Actor. The next, his anger explodes on live TV, and he walks up and slaps Chris Rock across the face. Over a joke.
That one act of anger? It cost him big time. His image took a massive hit. He went from being one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood to someone whose reputation is now tied to that one ugly moment. He’s banned from the Oscars for ten years, people are still talking about it, and it’s going to take a long time for him to fully recover from the damage to his career.
So yeah, anger? It can make you act out in ways that cost you your reputation, relationships, and future opportunities. One outburst, and suddenly your whole world can be flipped upside down.
That's how badly can anger cost a person! 0 reply

Today, October 3, 2024, the daughter of Eminem posted a video on social media. In it, she shares a happy surprise with her father — it’s a printed out photograph of an ultrasound, showing her first baby. Eminem, Slim Shady himself, is about to be a grandfather! Child of a broken home, betrayed by his junkie ex-wife, the iconic rapper broke the cycle and raised his daughter as a single father.
Now, granted, Eminem isn’t that young anymore — he’s 51 years old. But I still remember Eminem first and foremost for his rap songs. The energetic, wild videoclips. The outrageous lyrics. The “feuds” with various other celebrities, and the film about his early years in the rap game, 8 Mile. He was always this short-haired platinum blonde dude saying the wildest things, and saying them awfully fast.
This news comes just a few days after the birth of the first grandson of Tony Hawk and Kurt Cobain. All these 1990s legends who defined my early childhood are now grandfathers. Wild. 1 reply
