Has anyone (especially for startup / VC side) experienced their “work” personality eating into their “personal life” personality?

I feel the need to take a step back 🫠. Send help.

Personal: I share food with friends.
Work: Principal @ Cultivation Capital.

VC -> failed to level up as an operator -> VC

Oof. Without sounding cringe, a couple of real problems.
1. Memorize name + face for everyone almost instantly. This is especially bad for dating apps 😭.
2. Being able to read (generalize) people (background, speech pattern, non verbal language) with an uncomfortable level of accuracy.

Yeah I've basically had to stop myself from talking about crypto, even when people ask about it, without first confirming they're actually curious and want to have a relatively deep discussion - or if it's not the time/place a ban altogether
