The one thing native English speakers never understand is how lucky they are to speak and understand English from childhood. Here’s a small list of things I’ve faced as a non-native English speaker: 1. You feel stupid when you try to express yourself. Every time I try to say something, I feel like I have 5 IQ points—and if the weather is sunny, maybe 7. And it’s not just me who feels it—people listening to me can feel that awkward vibe too. I mix up words, get stuck trying to remember the right one, and constantly hit this invisible language wall that keeps me from sounding smooth and clear. 2. You don’t have access to 99% of information, because most of it is in English. A perfect example: when I started exploring startups, I found only one channel in my native language. But in English? There's Y Combinator, which offers 100x more info—and that’s just one channel. There are dozens out there.
