Pretty much agree. I think the implants route still has the highest potential (w heightened risks but if we ignore that for a sec) but actually bottlednecked by the UX or software. Wild.

Pretty mind-blowing what Apple can already do with conventional hardware sensors and some well-trained AI models. I think the best is yet to come. For most people moving to implants would be jumping the gun at this point.

Can’t help but wonder if neuralink (or equivalent) is much closer to commerialisation than we think.

They’ve had Head Tracking gestures for a while now but it always felt a bit spotty.
