Where am I going?

Having a hard time writing an update:

Hopped over to Switzerland for UCI Alpine Gravel challenge with the hope to qualify for the world championships this October. 

Was going well at the very start and hanging with some people way above my level, but an accidental slide out sent my butt to the deck, and my day to a different direction. 

Gritted my teeth and caught up all day. 

Came up short, P26/70 and only top 19 qualified. 

Given my travel + work schedule, showing up on the start line with a descent enough shape would’ve been a win. 

There is another qualification event in two weeks in Girona - my mind and my body both say “take a chill pill my buddy”. 

Also have to thank my amazing girlfriend Vivian who ran up and down the mountain all day to give me support.

dude, you're a beast for even showing up! sometimes it's about the journey and not just the destination. big ups to vivian for being your rock! keep pushing, you'll get there! 💪🚴‍♂️
