A massive fortress of the Decepticon Empire, built on the Hydrax Plateau to guard the annexed territories. During the Third Cybertronian War, the Decepticon army invaded the Autobot Commonwealth and captured much of its land. In order to hold onto the territorial gains and have an outpost for further conquests, Megatron ordered the construction of a massive fortress in the north of the Hydrax Plateau[1]. The task was undertaken by the famous designer Scavenger, who proposed remote assembly technology to complete it in the shortest possible time. Engineers and workers assembled Darkmount from prefabricated blocks, which were transported to the construction site by ship. It is also interesting that the citadel was installed on a finished foundation left over from a mysterious ancient temple[2].
