Why surprised? It's the people. People building DAOs are broken. Not DAOs as such. People are people, whether they be offline, online or onchain. Humans are humans. Some great, some corrupt. The tech doesn't change people. Just gives the tools.

Are you working on something? I would be interested too. DAOs do serve them a lot better than traditional orgs, but there are many difficulties as well. Would love to hear your thoughts, and if you know any projects / initiatives focusing on this.
