Dear Optimism Fractal community, I'd like to share an important update regarding the RetroFunding Round 6 applications that I created and request your support in helping these initiatives gain the recognition they deserve. 🔴 Hello Retro Funding reviewers and governance participants, I'm requesting your attention on an urgent forum post "Recognizing Impact" that provides critical context demonstrating how you can help the Collective fairly reward impact - both before Round 6 voting ends and by improving RetroFunding's processes going forward. The documentation shows how supporting the Optimism Fractal Respect Game Events application enables recognition of three essential projects that were mistakenly declined as duplicates. Though the novel governance processes pioneered by these project aren't yet widely understood, each has demonstrated impact benefiting both houses of the Collective. Thank you to all the amazing presenters who joined RetroPitches this past week! Over 20 projects showcased their impact to Optimism governance across three sessions, and it was awesome hearing from everyone 🙌🏽 We’ll release the videos with timestamps for each presentation as soon as possible to make it easy for badge holders and guest reviewers to evaluate each project’s impact before the Retro Funding round ends. These concise 5-minute presentations provide a great way to understand each project’s contributions to Optimism in an engaging format. Thanks everyone who contributed to making this first year of Optimism Fractal so incredible, and for helping make Season 4 our biggest yet! Our fourth season saw amazing momentum in our weekly Respect Games - more participants joining, stronger bonds formed, and enthusiasm reaching new heights. We’ve made huge strides in technical development, educational materials, and so much more. Together we've built an outstanding platform for awarding public goods creators, fostering collaboration amongst builders, and optimizing governance on the Superchain - and we’re just getting started.
